Towards Starting a Nonprofit, an exercise for
future founders.
People who want to start a non-profit are usually very passionate about the cause and the problems they want to solve. So they do jump right in with good intentions but with limited information. Thank you for breaking really important concepts down into usable, doable steps. You are providing a much needed service and you do it with such grace and compassion.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words, Ginny. Over the course of nearly 20 years in the nonprofit sector, I have seen many passionate people invest their heart, mind, time and treasure into a worthy cause that never fully launched or ultimately stalled because as you put it, they "jump right in". I am committed to helping as people as I can to put their passion into strategic action that allows them to achieve their goals to do good.
